The Tsunami Research Facility resides on the campus of Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Corvallis is in the Willamette (pronounced will-AM-ette) River valley, approximately 100 miles south of the Portland airport. Nestled in the eastern foothills of Oregon's Coastal Mountains, we are about an hour from the beach (to the west) and about the same distance from skiing and snowshoeing areas in the Cascades (to the east).
Our facility is located within the O.H. Hindsdale Wave Research Laboratory, on the Oregon State University campus.
